Poets' Letter's history goes as far back as its editor editing and publishing little magazines of different tittles at University days all of which ended up becoming one phrase: Poet's Letter that eventually became Poets' Letter. Poets' Letter was first published as a print magazine in a different format ( before the internet age flourished) in the late nineties which was bilingual and a few issues were published. The publication stopped for a few years till it was launched as an Online Monthly Magazine in March 2004, being posted on the author website of the editor. After a while Poets' Letter went on to have its own web home. Since than 5 years have watered into the history of this ocean of human creativity in the United Kingdom and the world beyond whereby we have published hundreds, if not thousands, of writers, poets, artists and photographers. In the process we tried to get into print and did manage to publish three print issues of the Magazine in 2006, though. The print magazine is published again to celebrate October as Poetry Month (2009) and there will be a Christmas 2009 issue this side of the year. Poets' Letter Magazine's germinative elements took fruit in the shape of London Poetry Festival which, like Poets' Letter, this year, is poised to celebrate its 5th year.
